Swiftly Flying

Her mind was racing forward, her eyes were sore and dry. She couldn’t stop the words from appearing in her mind. Her thoughts of these books, the way she read them, the way she would stand in front of a mirror and imagine every happy, or terrifying scene caused her to love books more and more. She had loved only the books that made her cry at night. The books that she had hoped of finding or writing one day in the palm of her hand scared her, yet enlighted her with courage. She always wanted to tell someone the truth, about how she felt about them, but of course the books weren’t good enough for that. She knew it. But she was never able to finish the story.

Holly Black is a writer of pure sadness, and happy endings. She loved writing of faeries, and her stories continue on forever. Even if they just lay on a dirty microwave in the middle of the country. Everyone I know would love for these “faeries” to exist. The mystical of the world that lives within these lives in the center of a large city, anyone would want to be apart of them. Holly Black put her full knowledge to make a heart grinding love story for the night and fall asleep crying. Anyone who loved reading would put her books on their shelf for future preferences. “Tonight you have carried my heart in your hands, but I’ve felt that you have long before that.”

Kate DiCamillo was an author that loved writing love stories for children. Being inspired of writing a book for a friend, she decided to create a book about a small mouse with large ears, an evil rat, and a poor little girl named mig. This book told about the loss of the main mouse, Desperaux, and his faults between his parents and the mouse council. That also includes every sibling he has ever had that suspected him to just die like the others. But when Desperaux is caught speaking with a beautiful princess of the large castle, he attempts to rescue her from the rat named Chiroscuro and his confused and convinced poor little Mig who suspects of becoming the replacement princess. This beautiful story continued to cause someone to hug themselves and think of happy endings. This is a love clenching, spine-tingling book to stay up later than one in the morning to finish. This is when you can repeat the old same thing: “Once upon a time”

Drusilla Campbell’s Blood Orange was heart clenching than others I have ever read. It took me two and a half days to finish, and I loved every second in the middle class of it. I couldn’t stop turning the page and wanting it to end happily. I skipped two chapters just to get to the good parts. But ofcourse, I read them later. This story told of a broken marriage that just couldn’t get picked up and placed exactly the same way. Their daughter was stolen, and found back three months later, safe and healthy. When the mother finds the truth, she just can’t stand it. But in the end, she can just find the right words to mend her husbands love again.
