Sweet Melody
I looked back, seeing nothing but your smiles that sat silently in the rain. All I could hear was those small whispers that spoke to me at night. The wind blew forcefully against my week and frail body, but I stayed the same that entire night. I wanted to watch, or see you again. And the only thing that kept me alive was the words you said to me to let me sleep. When the time of my memories sent me to a fight, or chaos of time, I opened my eyes all over again and had to wait for it to stop.
But soon it never did.
So I stood up, not able to sleep, or speak. Only to watch you play your time with someone else, and soon disappear. But through all these times, I could hear you sing softly in the night of a Sweet Melody…
“Hey there Delilah” by the “Plain White Tees”
-I understand that I know people who truly hate this song. But it is beautifully written, and deserves to be treated as so. It teaches us the truly real point of our reason of knowing what to think of love. Knowing that without our partner, or friend, what would we do?-
“Last Beautiful Girl” by “Matchbox 20″
-I know people who hate this song/ band, but this shows us what we should think after breaking up. I mean, really, is she really, truly the last beautiful girl?-
“Over You” by “Chris Daughtry”
-Plainly, this is a beautiful song. We all know, and if you haven’t you need therapy, that it takes years for all of us to think otherwise of a person after leaving them. And when we think that it can never stop, it does. Plain truth.-
“Hero” by “Enrique Iglesias”
-This song is hated by many people. This artist is hated by many people. But I tell you this, this is a sweet song. This tells you so much of being too much over your head. It shows people the truth of standing by your side forever. Including that they would die for you, no matter what you did. I love this song.-
“You and I Collide” by “Howie Day”
-I’ll tell you this, If I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place with personal deals, I always sit in my room, turn on my MP3, and listen to this song. Because we all know that even the best fall, and that wrong words can rhyme. I love this song so much.-
“A Thousand Miles” by “Vannessa Carleton”
-This song is just a plain song that tells you that someone would do anything to be with you. And that’s the best type of song to grant to someone.-
“Life is Sweet” by “Natalie Merchant”
-This is not such a common song for North America. But this is a beautiful song about going on with your life and dealing the harships of the world. This song is sweet.-
“You and Me” by “LifeHouse”
-I love this song. It shows how much someone loves you, and that you are no competition towards anyone in the entire world. They worked really hard to show how much it shows how much your worth to others.-
“My World” by “SR-71″
-I love how this song was written. Showing you how much you care by telling them that you are the only one in the world that can stand by your side. Showing that the person you compete with to get someone, should be the wrong one. There should never be someone like that trying to compete with your love one, if you tell them that they are the only person that deserves for you to protect them.-
“These Little Wonders” by “Rob Thomas”
-This is such a beautiful song. It has all of the beautiful words put together to show you how easy life could be if you just said that it’s short. You can be a good person no matter what. And how you only have a short time to spend with your loved one, so you have to use all your time with them as much as possible. The memories will never be forgotten.
And through all of these hard times, I could sing with you, feeling happy all over again, even in darkness of the chaos.
